Gonzalo Gonzalo, born in Logroño, was raised in between the vines. After studying Biology in León and Oenology in the RIoja, and working for small wineries in France and Italy, decided to start his own project in Spain in 2003. He follows biodynamic principles when it comes to farming and when in 2008 he decided his wine was ready for bottling, but was in need of a small economic injection, he went with some samples to the banks for a loan, only to be rejected by all as wine wasn’t something worth investing in. With a little helpfrom his friends and family, Gonzalo got to bottle and label and brought out his wine, in dedication to all the bankers who denied him a loan. Juicy and with a punchy acidity, we are grateful Gonzalo is still i business!
