Perfect balance in this prize winning Pouilly Fumé by modern wine maker Alain Cailbourdin.
- You cannot add "Frédéric Magnien Meursault Premier Cru 'Genevrieres'" to the cart because the product is out of stock.
Harvested from the finest limestone slopes in the appellation, basking in a sun-soaked southwestern exposure, this cuvee is the epitome of winemaking and the quintessential representation of their portfolio.
Local parlance dubs it “Les Cris” to denote vines nestled in pebbly limestone soil, locally known as caillotes.
In its youth, this wine is exceptionally graceful, offering fruity notes (pineapple, citrus, peach) intertwined with subtle mineral nuances. With 1 or 2 years of aging, these aromas mature, increasingly echoing the terroir’s mineral essence.
On the palate, Les Cris exudes power, structure, and richness. Its impeccable balance is a result of grapes harvested at their peak ripeness.
