In 2003 winemaker Javier Suqué, who derives from one of the most important wine families in Spain, decided to pursue his dream to do something different, to leave a mark for future generations and to pay tribute to a lifetime devoted to the cultivation of the vine. They did their research and got inspired by the history dating back to 1807 and the region’s ancient winemaking tradition dating back to the Phoenician times. They tracked down the indigenous vines and revived them, creating a forgotten wine style. A wine with very little acidity and a nice body, this is a great match for Asian dishes!
